Robin Sklarin is an Illustration student currently enrolled in Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). He is scheduled to graduate in May 2026.Robin is most interested in the fields of digital and traditional illustration, fabrication, soft sculpture, and doll/toy design. He is very comfortable with a digitial workflow, able to use multiple Adobe products efficiently such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. He prefers to draw on Clip Studio Paint, but can work in most digital drawing softwares. He works digitally on a Cintiq 16 or an iPad Mini. Outside of digital work, Robin loves working with watercolor, ink, and gouache. He also enjoys digital embroidery, proficient in making embroidered patches and other small pieces.Recently, Robin has become interested in pursuing multiple different fields of employment that are all quite niche, ranging from puppetry, doll and toy manufacturing, costume design, stop motion fabrication, and running his own small business for apparel and dolls.If any of this piques your interest, he recommends that you take a look around!
